We are a membership-led Party, with a local party working in each ward – or a Branch Labour Party (BLP). BLPs come together to form a Constituency Labour Party (CLP). All the BLPs and CLPs in Sheffield are part of the Local Campaign Forum (LCF). Each unit of the Party is led by elected officers.

We work closely with our elected members (Councillors, MPs, the South Yorkshire Mayor, and the Police and Crime Commissioner) to push forward a progressive agenda for our city in the Town Hall and in Parliament.

Our city has faced great challenges over the past decade. Austerity and the Covid pandemic have hit Sheffield hard. Throughout it all Sheffield Labour has stood up for our city and made difficult decisions to protect the most vulnerable in our society and to support our city.
